Description

The Floating Flanged Ball Valve is in two-piece body, mainly intended for shut off or isolating service. When it is actuated, the torque is transmitted to the stem down to drive ball bore to be parallel with valve flow path at full open position or cross with valve flow path at full closed position.

  • It is with bidirectional tightness allowing for shut off at both sides. Spring loaded metal and soft seated designs are available for various applications.

  • Floating ball valve adopts elastomer sealing in a special double oblique surfaces design with much lower friction and operation torque.

  • For a low pressure application, the small contact area between the sealing and ball provides a relative high seat pressure rate to assure a reliable tightness.

  • As the pressure gets higher, the contact between the seal ring and ball gets more closed accordingly with a larger contact area , therefore, a large pressure undertaking capacity of seal ring to assure a reliable tightness

  • This valve is applicable for process conditions with pressure range of PN1.6MPa-4.0MPa, ANSI ciass150-class300 and temperature range of -29℃ to 300℃ for shutting off or allowing the medium flow such as water, pulp, oil, steam, acids, alkali, ammonia, urea, natural gas with sulfur etc.

  • It features in quick open and close, low flow resistance, reliable tightness, wide application and long service life etc. Therefore, it is widely used in industries such as pulp and paper, petroleum, chemical, water power plant, coal-fire, power plant and water treatment etc.
